DANCE

1. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR MV COURSES, HIP HOP OPEN CLASSES AND CHOREOGRAPHY CLASSES?

MV [MUSIC VIDEO COURSE]

In our MV courses, you get to learn the full choreography of your favourite K-Pop songs! Our instructors will break down the choreography and formations for you step-by-step and teach you how to execute the steps using proper dance techniques, such that you are able to master the choreography by the end of the course! Our MV courses are a good way to slowly build dance technique through exposure to different genres of choreography, while dancing along to your favourite K-Pop songs!

Our MV courses all have a fixed starting and end date, and are usually either 4 / 6 / 8 sessions long.

HIPHOP COURSE

In our Hip Hop open classes, the instructor focuses on the teaching and drilling of basic Hip Hop technique, and will spend the remaining class time on routines or choreographies that incorporate these basic techniques and movements. A new routine or choreography will be taught every week.

Our Hip Hop open classes are ongoing, and new students can choose to join any time!

CHOREOGRAPHY COURSE

For our Choreography classes, the instructor goes straight into teaching choreography. The same piece of choreography will be continued over several weeks, and the instructor spends more time on cleaning and perfecting the steps over the weeks. There is less drilling of technique, and instead, a greater focus on incorporating technique into the choreography, improving one's musicality, exploring styles that are not so strongly influenced by Hiphop, and exploring individual expression and style.

Our Choreography classes are ongoing, and new students can choose to join any time!

2. CAN I ATTEND A TRIAL CLASS BEFORE SIGNING UP?

With the exception of MV courses, trial classes are available for all other dance courses / classes!

3. HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR MV CLASSES?

We only confirm our MV classes closer to the starting date [as stated on our website]. Do note that you have reserved a slot for yourself with our staff, so you'll be updated on any changes to any of the classes!

You can register for classes via the following ways:

1. via the Contact Form on our website

2. by dropping us an email at hello@celinejessandra.com with your name, contact number and the course you're interested in

Closer to the starting date of your selected MV course, you will receive a confirmation SMS informing you that the course has been confirmed and about the various payment methods available to you.

4. CAN I SIGN UP FOR OPEN CLASSES ANYTIME?

Our Hip Hop open classes are all ongoing, so you can join the class at any time. You can just come down on the day you wish to begin your package, to sign up and make payment. However, as we cap all our classes at 18 students per class, do drop us an email, SMS or call to confirm the availability of slots in the class before coming down.

5. WHY DO THE DIFFERENT MV SONGS HAVE DIFFERENT NUMBER OF SESSIONS?

The number of sessions for each MV course is dependent on the length and difficulty level of the MV choreography.

6. IF I MISS A CLASS [FOR MV COURSES], AM I ABLE TO GET A MAKE-UP LESSON?

Should you be unable to attend a lesson, there are several options available to you:

1. If there is a different time slot available for the same MV course, you are able to attend the corresponding lesson for that time slot to make up for the lesson you missed.

2. If there are no other time slots available for your MV course, you can inform us of your absence beforehand, and we will video and email you a tutorial video, so that you are able to watch and prepare for the next lesson.

Our instructors will also recap steps from previous weeks, so there shouldn't be any major difficulties in catching up!

7. IF I MISS A CLASS [FOR ONGOING OPEN CLASSES], AM I ABLE TO GET A MAKE-UP LESSON?

Under our Individual package, we offer 2 weeks' grace to complete 10 sessions of open classes. This is equivalent to 2 make up lessons.

Under our 1-for-1 Buddy package, we offer 1 weeks' grace to complete 10 sessions of open classes. This is equivalent to 1 make up lesson.
